Website and web demo

Last updated: 18 October 2026

How we process data when you visit the iGuyton website and use the web demo, under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

In short. The demo does not save anything: the values you type stay in your browser and disappear when you close the page. We use no profiling or advertising cookies. We count visits with Umami, a statistics tool installed on our own server that sets no cookies and stores no IP address (cookie policy).

1. Data controller

Dr. Pietro Bertini, physician, VAT IT02044000491. Privacy contact: [email protected]. No data protection officer (DPO) has been appointed, as it is not mandatory.

2. What data we process and why

DataPurposeLegal basisRetention
IP address, browser type, date and time of requests Technical operation, protection against attacks and abuse of the site Legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f GDPR)Technical logs of Cloudflare for the periods set by its service; the controller's server keeps no access logs
Page visited, referring site, browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language and country (derived from the IP address, which is not stored) Anonymous statistics on visits, to understand how the site is used and improve it Legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f GDPR) 24 months, then deleted. Not linked to you: no cookies, and a daily changing code prevents recognising a visitor from one day to the next (details)
Values entered in the demo and example PDFs Show you how the app works— Not collected: processed only in your browser's memory, never sent to us or to others, and erased when the page is closed

Do not enter real patient data in the demo. It is a demonstration tool: even though it saves nothing, use test data.

3. Providers and transfers

The site is hosted on a server of the controller in Italy and reaches the Internet through Cloudflare (content delivery and protection network), which receives requests and the IP address as a data processor (data processing agreement; Cloudflare privacy policy). Data may also be processed outside the European Union, in particular in the United States, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, to which Cloudflare adheres, and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Visit statistics are collected with Umami, open-source software installed on the controller's server in Italy: no third party receives them.

Fonts and the demo's graphics engine are served directly by this site. If the demo must show a symbol not included in the app's fonts, the browser may download a fallback font from Google Fonts, which then receives the IP address.

4. Cookies and local storage

The site uses no profiling, advertising or third-party analytics cookies, so it shows no consent banner. Visit statistics (Umami) use no cookies. Cloudflare may set a technical security cookie (__cf_bm) to tell legitimate traffic from bots. The browser's local storage (localStorage) is used only to remember the light or dark theme, your choice not to be counted in the statistics. The full list, and the switch to turn statistics off, are in the cookie policy.

5. Recipients

Data is neither sold nor transferred. The controller and, as a technical provider, Cloudflare may access it. It may be disclosed to authorities only where required by law.

6. Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability of your data and object to processing based on legitimate interest (arts. 15–22 GDPR) by writing to the contact in section 1. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, or with the authority of your country.

7. Who may use the demo

The demo is intended for adult healthcare professionals.

8. Security

Communications are encrypted (HTTPS).

9. Changes

Any changes will be published on this page with a new update date. For the installable app, the app privacy notice applies.
